Why do you think Obama thinks its a bad idea? Because it didn't work when he voted for it. He has experience in this area. This video is the worst form of propaganda, because it's so censored. Someone said previously that it only showed 15 seconds of the conversation. Yep, very right. Your video fails to mention the loss of 7000 jobs and lack of maintainence for roads and bridges that would occur due to the draining of the fund that does that; that fund is supplied by the federal gas tax.

Clinton proposes to keep the roads repaired by filling the fund with money that would otherwise go towards developing alternative energy: the only long term solution to the gas price crisis.

It is an election gimmick and Obama was absolutely right not to pander into it.

Yep - one reason why a tank of gas costs so much is that the US Dollar is so weak. That's a fact of life: When your currency is weak commodities cost more.

Most Americans do not realize that inflation is a form of taxation, or even wealth confiscation. When the dollars in your savings account buy less than the year before you've become less wealthy - it's much like being taxed.

Think about Barack Obama every time you goto a gas station, fill up your tank, and want to buy a snack or pack of cigarettes, which he also wants to tax. If it's too expensive, it was Barack Obama who stopped you from getting it.
