As I approached the old entrance, I was nearly overwhelmed by a "Carnival of Souls"-esque vibe. ("You know that old pavilion out there? Will we pass it?" 'We'll go right by it...stop and look at it, if you like. But what attraction could there be for you out there?')

  • It really is sad. Didn't they have plenty of generic high-rise condos already? I miss the look and spirit of the old Panama City Beach.

  • Sad. Florida has no appreciation of its rich past.

  • It kind of reminds me of "I Am Legend".

  • I agree, I lived in PCB for ten years back in the 90's. I grew up going there with my parents each summer. PCB will never be the same, the old Florida is dead. So sad.

  • So sad. Its like the half demolished Park will forever rot away. Without the Starliner, even an atempt to resurect the Park would be expensive. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the Starliner was saved, but without it, they'd have to build a new coaster if they bring back the Strip.
