The PAW robot, developed at McGill University, can turn by tucking its legs and wheels on one side. This lowers the centre of mass, making it more stable. The wheels on the inside of the turn are driven more slowly than the wheels on the outside. More information at www.cim.mcgill.ca/~jasmith
