I played on Fippy for a while, amazing game even today. I really wish a game would come out that could rival the feeling everquest gave to evolving your character. The work that you had to put into it on EQ made you appreciate how far you had come from taking your first step in your starting city, no other game has done even remotely what EQ has done in terms of how treasured a player considered his toon.

For those of you who miss the feeling for the original Everquest circa Kunark, Velious. Check of Shards of Dalaya. Its a legite emulated server thats entirely custom content and has the largest playerbase of any emulated server. It has what your looking for.

I left after Velious, the greedy pigs were destroying the game, then there was the game owners that were catering to the pvp and greed crowd. Now the same thing is happening on WOW.
Sigh id love to go back to EQ if i knew i had a chance with a new character.
