Frankie awoke to a big thump landing beside him. "What the?" He turned around and saw Nick face down of the carpet moaning. "Nick?"
"Yes?" he responded face sill glued to the floor.
"Wha- did you just fall off your bed?" Frankie asked sitting up and staring at Nick the motionless figure beside him.
"Yea, that happens sometimes..." Nick mumbled. Frankie turned over his covers and got up to pull Nick to his feet. Nick sighed, "Thanks..."
"Yea... No prob." Frankie said patting Nick back.
Nick ran his hand through his messy curls. "Come on, lets go to breakfast." He opened the door and could smell the sweet sensation of bacon and eggs. "Ooh, I smell bacon!"
"Me too!" Frankie said leaping out the bedroom and down the stairs.
"Hey! Wait for me!" Nick yelled, as the both of them pounded down the stairs.
"Morning." Mrs. Carter greeted as she flipped a few pieces of bacon. "You hungry?"
"Yes we are," Nick jumped. He took a seat at the end of the table and Frankie took the seat next to Selena.
Frankie pulled out his chair and accidentally nudged Selena in the face with his elbow. "Oh, sorry," he patted her shoulder. He scooted in and their arms brushed against each other. Selena looked at Frankie smiled and continued to talk to Demi.
Both grabbed a few pieces of bacon and a portion of eggs.
"So did you have fun yesterday?" Demi asked taking a sip orange juice.
"Yes, we had a blast!" Nick croaked.
"Yea, the cowboys made three touchdowns and won by eleven points!!!" Frankie added.
"Whatd you guys do?" Nick asked.
"Well, we went shopping, got makeovers and spent time on the beach!" Miley spoke up.
"No, thats what YOU did..." Demi eyed her as Miley took a bite of her cinnamon roll.
"We just hung out at home, and your brothers came over a visit, we all went out for ice cream." Selena corrected.
"Kevin was OVER?!" Miley exclaimed nearly chocking on her roll.
"Yea, he asked if you were around, but we told him you were at the mall with your friends!" Selena back fired.
"Well that was delicious, is it all right is I get cleaned up here?" Frankie asked wiped his mouth.
"But you dont have anything to change into..." Nick pointed out.
"Yes, I brought a duffle bag remember, it had some clothes and other stuff in it... dont you remember you reached in it to get that bag of chips that I brought..."
"Oh yea..." Nick reminisced. "The bathroom if right down that hall," Nick pointed to hall past the living room
While Frankie was showering, Nick, Demi, Selena, and Miley were cleaning the kitchen. Suddenly a knock at the door interrupted the counter cleaning. (whoa Miley helping clean the kitchen?)
"I'll get it," Selena ran to the front door and opened it up to find Joe and Kevin at the door. "Hey, come in out of the frigid air.." Joe and Kevin stepped in stopping their feet on the welcome mat placed inside the door. Selena motioned for them to follow her into the kitchen. "Look whos here..."
"Joe!" Demi dropped her rag and ran to Joe give him a big hug.
"Kevin!" Miley yelled jumping into Kevins arms.
"Hey I missed you yesterday," Kevin mumbled into Mileys ear.
"I missed you too." Miley continued to hug her boyfriend, but eventually let go.
"Is Frankie here? My mom said he stayed over.." Kevin implied.
"Yes hes showering, you can hang out here.." Nick said wiping away that last crumbs on the table.
"Great... ooh.... cinnamon rolls," Joes mouth watered as he eyes the plate of rolls.
"Joseph," Kevin pulled on Joes shirt to hold him back from a face plant into the cinnamon rolls.
"Its OK, do you want one?" Demi offered. Joe nodded, but Kevin was shaking his head. "Its OK, we're not gonna eat them.."
"OK, thanks..." Joe escaped Kevin grip on his shirt and ran to gab a roll, taking a big savory bite.
"No Joe..." Kevin raised a hand to his face.
"Whats wrong?" Demi asked drying a dish.
"Joe and sugar... not a good combo. Were going to run some errands after this and me and Frankie have to put up with his three stage-sugar rush. First hes really hyper and has a short term memory/short attention span. Then he slows down and starts to complain. Thankfully we've only had to put up with the first two stages, Joe has only gotten to the third stage twice." Kevin explained.
"Whats the last stage?" Demi asked putting dishes away.
