my nokia n76 had the same problem but it can be solved by alteration

@Yurchik1988 I'll tell you whenever I have a chance mate. I'm enjoying my E71 now. A very good phone! But I have a feeling I will leave the phone for a while. The fix isn't going to be cheap I think. Pretty much like a common problem to N76 because my friend sexy red N76 has got the same problem but only on the main LCD, he sold it and now using a Sony Erricsson...

I have kind of the same problem as yours mate... Is it the LCD or something else? My nearby store doesn't want to fix it because it's difficult to open the shell + no stock for the LCD.

It's easy to open the case. But I don't know how to solve the problem. I have bought the flex cable on ebay and replace it, but the problem didn't disappear. Don't think that LCD is the problem, because both of them works incorrect. Think the problem is printed circuit board

@Yurchik1988 Yeah I don't think mine is also the LCD problem too... Even bad news both front and main LCD gone blank. And during startup, the screen says ''Nokia'' flashes with the word Nokia going sideways. After that everything went black, blank. I will send it to Nokia Specialist when I'm free but for now, I have an E71 =D
