The Coast Guard says it airlifted a man with heart disease from a sailboat in the stormy Gulf of Mexico to shore in Louisiana. The Coast Guard said officials were called early Thursday about a couple aboard a 64-foot sailboat bound for Houston. (Jan. 4)

    The dispatch call was for an unresponsive male, probably by the time CG arrived he was responsive again but needed further medical treatment or evaluation.

    The coast guard recieved a call from his wife(or the woman that was with him) that said he was unresponsive, so they sent a team out to rescue them.
