@gosse08 it's probably because it's a locked phone and you have to unlock it, try searching how to jailbreak and unlock for the firmware you have 8D! If you need help though let me know

@erickitty315 hey Wsup, I reccommend just downloading pwnagetool 4.1 then downloading the 4.1 update on the MacBook because it makes hour iPhone 3G run super smooth ! 8D but yeah if you need me to make a tutorial on how to do it tell me!

people: all these fixes are BS or outdated. i've tried everything. airplane toggle, reset network, restore, restore and upgrade, opened up the iphone and reset antenna, jailbroken, tryed to downgrade baseband.after doing alot of research ive had my best luck with TEMPERATURE. toss it in the freezer for 5 minutes (dont get it wet!) and watch your signal come back. i just got mine out, 3 bars on 3G. it's not perfect but it's worked! thumbs up or respond or message me if it works for you!!
