  • @jhf0551 People can always upgrade old models. For explame, some of Hong Kong's tarin were used since the 1970's. It's still in use today

  • Beijing subway does have engineers. One of the main tasks for them is to control the opening/closing doors.

This train is DK16 model. It was built in 1984, and now there are no more such trains.

  • New York City wanted to make its all underground trains 100% automated/computarized, but, the Union threatened to go on strike, so government cancelled the program... :-( Driverless trains are so much fun when you watch them drive themselves... Sadly, we won't get them anytime soon in New York. Do Beijing subway have a driver/engineer in every train?

  • The boston subway reminds me of cold war. They really should've lighten that place up a lil bit

  • Very nice color of train... matches light silver/whitish floor of the subway system. Other than in New York City, USA have subway system as clean as Beijing or some European city's, but, in the end, it all depends on the commuters, us, to keep it clean..!

  • Ping Pong station?

  • Line 2, YongHeGong Station
