After playing Pokemon Trainer and seeing how few videos there are of them, and noticing how few people actually play this character, I decided to show some of the highlights of the character. Remember, change is mandatory, and punishable!

  • Squirtle is the quick, agile and small Pokémon that doesn't deal much damage, but can if you use his agility and size correctly.

Charizard is slow, big, but a powerhouse that can deal a lot of damage with a few hits.

IvySaur is the defender, basically you have your enemy pushed in a corner and weaken him by dealing constant damage through the good solid defense that he has.

    That's how I use PT.

  • ....No I use PT, and if you mean to say that you can be good with Ivy then again you're not playing at a high level, ask any pro PT, they never use him in tourneys. Unfortunately any half decent player that knows how to perfectshield, combo/string in the air, DI and edgeguard would destroy Ivy. But if you disagree I'd like to hear your reasons because I'd like to be proven wrong, but unless u know some new ATS that will considerably boost his metagame you're most likely wrong no offence.

  • all of your opponents seem to have never played before... and never attempt to dodge/shield.

  • @AndreIannucci89 Idk. They way I play with Ivysaur is keeping him in the middle of the stage. Regardless of being rushed, dodging minimizes the chances of edge fights. With Ivysaur, you wanna build of damage, not kills. Then, when they're weak enough, a simple smash would be enough to kill form the center. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty solid on this technique. Ivysaur should be played strategically, not aggressively.

  • Nice charizard spikes.

  • Do u play WoW?

  • I love you for making this. I main Pokemon Trainer and these are awesome combos! :D

  • @BonJoviFanboy I never said it was easy...but if u know how to..they can be deadly. He is not a high tier character because hes hard to use...characters like mk/ic/pikachu/snake...(list goes on) are high tier because they are very "noob friendly". Brawl- is in my opinion, much better than regular brawl because it is faster and u cant recover as easily.

  • @Broho0 If Ike were good at comboing then he wouldn't be in second to last tier now would he? In order to be high tier you have to be fast, unpredictable, or have ubelievably strong attacks that can KO at 30% (Snake). I knowIke hits hard but his attacks are much easir to avoid.

  • @BonJoviFanboy and hes not high tier

  • @BonJoviFanboy ike is great at comboing...if u know how

  • Brawl lost many combo that were existant in Melee. It's more about individual hits one at a time now. There are few characters that can combo and the ones that can are the ones in high tier. (Metaknight fair until you get off the stage then to a dair)
