Wow. They can really sing. I always liked their live album with "Mysterio."

This makes me forget my worries.

I saw them in 1972 at the old Capitol theatre in New London, CT when I was just 15. Wow, what a show. It's nice to hear that some people remember who they are. Just a great band that went unrecognized. So great to find the music on YouTube.

What a great band ( B&D)...used to do this song back in the day with a trio and we used to come out front and sing most of it a capella...went over great...also used to do Things go Better which had such great positivity and energy...sad but inevitable that time is passing

I've read all about Jim and his condition. It's terrible what happened and truly very sad. It seems as though that he worked with EVERYONE and now no one talks about him. He's like some dirty secret. Terrible. He's still one of the best who ever lived. He's played some of my favorite fills ever committed to wax.

Y'all need to go read the story of what happened to Jim Gordon.

Thanks I love this band

He was definitely one of the best drummers! After all, this group of musicians were some of the best studio musicians in and around the L.A. area. It's just so tragic what happened to him and his mother.

I'm fully aware of how amazing D&B are, especially when backed by Eric, George, and Dave Mason. But good lord is Jim Gordon not the best damn drummer who ever lived?

Love this song! The Black Crowes do a great cover of this song. Through them, I've discovered this great group!

Do you remember their performance in the movie. "Vanishing Point"?

My mother had semi-connections to Delaney and Bonnie. She used to be close friends with a Southern California band called Formula from 1970 to 1973 or so. Ben Benay, a session guitarist who played with Delaney and Bonnie, also played with Formula and dated my mom briefly. For my moms 23rd birthday in Aug. 1971, Delaney and Bonnie joined Formula onstage at a club and sang "Happy Birthday" to my mom!

Underrated BAND TILL THIS DAY (long before and after Clapton joined) I am so happy to have their 1st LP on Stax records (the first white band signed to Stax)
