@MickeyNM -- Typical self-indulgent comment that reflects far-more about your faithful allegiance to biased stereotypes that reinforce unquestioned worldview assumptions than offering any insights re. human nature or history. I think Benicio might have been wary of or intimidated against saying something that might be construed as defending or valorizing Che that he'd then have to argue. Instead, his comments were wishy-washy, vague & non-committal. Too bad, as many people misunderstand Che.

IF American political & financial elites who maintain the cultural & trade blockade of Cuba really believed in the noble & prosperous tenets of neoliberalism, they would facilitate open, gracious & generous relations instead of a policy reflecting contempt, malice, suspicion, bitterness & hostility. Apparently they are more wary of the power & influence of anti-imperialist Revolutionary ideas 'infecting' America & exposing its hypocrisy & lies than relishing opportunities for trade & investment.

As much as I love Benicio del Toro. I don't think he is the best spokesperson for Che Guevara. Again, its not his job and he is a great actor.
