Schwantner's "Velocities" played by Derek Tywoniuk

This is me playing Schwantner's "Velocities" on my junior recital. It's far from perfect, but I'm still young and it was more or less my first performance.

its a really good performance. well done. Your Marimbaplaying really sounds like a Marimba and not like a Xylophon (In other performances on youtube it sounds very often like a Xylophon).

Thanks; the fact that it's such a difficult piece for mallet selection does not help the fact that many people have a xylophone-like sound quality when performing this piece. I'm taking a temporary break from performing this piece, but am still searching for the perfect mallet selection for this piece (if it even exists).
