Supernatural 5.19 - Gabriel's death

Gabriel confront his brother Lucifer and of course it ended bad.
Trickster/Gabriel's been my favorite character since s2 so I hated to see him go :'(
But this scene is epic nonetheless! Two very different actors, but so amazing!
And Lucifer looks close to actually crying O_o
I love Mark and Richard!!!

I just love Gabriel for taking "our" side. And his "Damn right they're flawed. But a lot of them try to do better. To forgive." is a quote that will always be the most meaningful to me, along with Damien's "To wake up every morning and save the world. To have a brother who would die for you.Well who wouldn't want that?" and Chuck's "Up against good, evil, angels, devils, destiny and God himself. They made their own choice. They chose family." But especially Gabriel's is always on my mind :)

This scene is so emotional. You can even see how it looks like Gabriel's about to start crying when Lucifer stabbed him. It was like when Lucifer called him 'little brother' something in him just broke. You think Sam and Dean portray the brother-hate/love relationship? This goes beyond that! Even Lucifer is about to cry, though he's the one doing the murder. Kudos to both actors! This is some amazing acting, this scene had me going a lot more than any Sam/Dean family scenes.

This is my FAVORITE scene in ALLLLLL of supernatural because it gets right to the heart of the whole show as well as reflecting similar relationships between characters and exposing the true motivation of each of the characters as well as the risks theyre willing to take and sacrifices theyre willing to make to either protect the ones they love or do what they at least THINK is right. Plus Mark Pelligrino and Richard Speight Jr. portray this so perfectly.

was so emotional when lucifer starting crying something in him just broke i agree. he lost someone he actully care about by killing gabrial. so misunderstood with anger an lust for what he wants. i could never find the strentgh to do what he did. unless i lost everything like he did.idk.

thanks soooo much for posting this vid. it hurt so much to see gabriel's face when luifer killed him. but i loved his whole speech to lucifer especially where he stood up for us humans. so sad & sweet. :',( thank you.
