This exhibition is a product of the human transformations in the artists paintings, as the drive behind the expressive energy was the use of multiple lines.

" This exhibition is a product of a two year exploration, where my fascination with human transformations was depicted into my paintings.

In this exhibition, I did not use multiple colors as in my previous work. Instead I surprised myself even by using one line and one color as the essential element in all my paintings.

The human figure is portrayed as an incomplete figure looking for fulfillment through its multiple transformations, such as a melting figure or a figure lost in space, or a yet another experience where the figure is whole but its shadow is trying to get away from it.

This experience is a reflection of my personal visualizations of the development and destruction we, as humans, continuously experience when looking for fulfillment.

My technique was to take the human figure to the extreme point of destruction, or some might see it as freedom from destruction. I personally do not know where to draw the line between them.

The line has been an essential element in the painting, where it appears as if the human figure is trying to escape a web of human destruction and human evolvement in our time.

The main technique behind my paintings was using acrylic with a very thin brush which felt more like weaving than painting because of the multiple intertwined lines of black, gray and white, which created an illusion of depth in terms of proximity, abstraction.

One painting that stands out in this exhibition is a portrait of a real human figure. It took me a while to decide on whom to draw, I first wanted to draw myself, but I was so captivated by Giacometti and his sharp features. I am also deeply fascinated by his outstanding work and so I decided to draw his face.

To me, this is the beginning of a new experience; drawing something that is based on reality, like an actual human figure, without twisting the image. It could be that I finally reconciled with reality Im not so sure "
