i no longer count myself as a republican. i have been a registered republican for over 30 years, participated in the election process as both a poll worker and presiding judge, i have donated both financialy and my time, but this is over. this was an underhanded act commited by the RNC to avoid competition to their chosen puppets. they have lost my support, and i think that of many others as well.

Democrats did the SAME thing this year at their convention with their resolution to put "God" back in the platform. It was clear most people in the crowd shouted "No" but the resolution was passed. Later news media showed the teleprompter and it was all scripted just like this vote.

Point is this is nothing new or unique.

I used to be a Democrat. I regret that I didn't vote for Perot in 1996 when he asked America to "Vote your concience" but I learned. In 2000, I voted for Nader and was hated for it. I voted for Nader again in 2004. In 2008, I changed parties to vote for Ron Paul in the GOP primary and Nader in the Presidential Election.

I voted again for Ron Paul in the GOP primary this year, just to see crap on him.

I have waited for 14 years for America to wake up but now, it's already too late for the US.
