For Avenues of the World at Millennium Water, (previous site of the Athlete Village during the Vancouver Olympics) Kodu proudly presents the "Canadian Athlete" inspired home. Kodu took many cues from our athletes; the "pushing the envelope" attitude, the technology, space age materials, and futuristic equipment. Kodu Design selected and designed elements for this home that expressed: speed, strength, finesse, beauty and "the dream". Kodu offers a freshness of vision in the design of the interior environment. Creating functional, minimalistic and interesting spaces by combining simple and timeless forms with inviting textures, honest materials and local flavour has become our signature. The design of the home continues to intrigue Kodu principal Merike Lainevool because "home" is the environment where most our personal growth and transformations happen, both in our lives and in our relationships.
