Onlookers on Main Beach in East Hampton were sad and surprised to see a humpback stranded on the shore. Rescuers Wednesday were trying to decide whether the humpback whale calf stranded could be safely euthanized. Videojournalist: Mario Gonzalez

  • If you were watching this in a time travel movie, you would think, don't move it, every little change could effect the future. Because you like the way your life is now.But you see this in real time and you want to help it in disregard to how this will effect the future.Point being everything happens for a reason. Maybe that whale was too weak to add to the gene pool and helping it would have breed 10 whales like that. I love nature, But we can not interfere even if it pulls our heart strings
