@InfiniteMisery003 Take a moment to consider that Yog Sothoth, and many other Elder Gods, are only described as having certain shapes because thats how we can try to understand them. I highly doubt that most Elder Gods have much more than a passing interest in the concept of form, aside from Nyarlathotep of course, but he keeps changing his.

what i dont get is how lovecraft describes yog sothoth as 13 globes, yet all these illustrations depict him as more grotesquely tentacled.
i thought the tentacled creature was the one in the dunwich horror?
even though that was yog sothoth's son.
or it that yog sothoth's shape transposes to the tentacled shape in our dimension?
