hello linda fans again,as I said when the capitol years was out I knew it would not be there,I wrote a very firm letter and told them what I thought,I found a copy at a record store in 89,its on the raven 2lp set in mono,it seems to be a tape copy not a 45 dub,her last lp fropm 72 is not included,it should have been and a 2nd cd would have been needed, dont understand why,it made sense to include it on the silk purse cd in stereo, its very overproduced, should be remixed, was doneatcapitolLA studio

Same here, was astounded when I learned it came out on a rerelease. God let us find it so we wouldn't go crazy before we go. And on youtube, too! how great!

You can download the original single from the internet...let me know if you need the link, or I can forward you a mp3 file of the original...I also converted the audio portion of this video to mp3 if you need that

hey great song...i have spent 40 years trying to find that single!!! OMG!!!

This song was written by Emitt Rhodes a Fine solo artist from the 1970's. He wrote all his own songs and played all the instruments. Often called McCartneyesque or a one man Beatle. Before going solo he was a member of the group The Merry Go Round. Their big hit single called Live was also covered by The Bangles . A collection of his solo work can be found at Hip-o Select. I reccomend it to all who like Linda' s version or people who like the Beatles. If you Like music you will dig Emitt Rhodes.

Yeah, I did take up alot of space here. But at least we have the freedom of getting a little carried away in our comments. No harm done. Can't say that for the *unofficial* Linda Ronstadt fan chat forum, where it appears Nazi music industry marketing reps, posing as fans, control discussion arbitrarily.
