@1aauto I tested it and the ignition switch is fine. All the fuses are fine to. Idk what else to check. I might just have to take it to the Ford dealership and let them take a look at it. $99 for a diagnostic check :(

@4g63dett You may want to test the switch with a test light to see if there's power coming from it when you try to start the car.

@1aauto I have a question for you. So I tried to start my 02 ford taurus se 2days ago, and the car didn't want to start. The headlights and dash lights work but when I try to start the car, there's nothing I swapped out the starter thinking it was that or the solenoid but It checked out fine. I'm thinking it's the ignition switch. Idk I'm kinda new to American cars especially fords. Please help me. It's a 02 Ford Taurus SE 3.0 V6

@My96XJ We currently do not have a video showing a tune up on this particular vehicle. You more than likely would need to remove the cover if it seems to be in the way of the plugs.
Do you guys have a video on how to change the REAR spark plugs and wires for this engine?

@IsmarDragon We currently do not have a video that shows you how to replace these plug wires, we'll keep this in mind during any future repairs.

This couldn't possibly be any easier. I went to Reox Automotive in Murfreesboro, TN and they wanted $270 to replace the coil pack on my wife's 2002 Mercury Sable. The part itself cost $70 at Autozone. That tells me I was getting raped for the labor, or over-charged for the part, or *both*! Thanks Mike!

Do you have a video on changing the wireset?
FHILLJICE 1 month ago
@FHILLJICE In this video we show you how to mark the wires so that they don't get mixed up. If your not replacing the coil you could replace on wire at a time, so that you don't forget where they go, and if they do all need to come off after you mark them, you could also take a picture with your cell phone or digital camera, just in case you forgot what order you had marked them in. Hope this helps you out.
