The sound of the C64 version had much more 'charm' for me. There are a lot of people using a chip emulating that caracteristic sound these days, which proves it still has that little 'something' all the actual technology can't offer ;)

I think its called 'compstyle' or something. I probably found it on some font website. Sorry I can't help you more with it.

I loved reading this novel. The writing style was out there, but I was able to get what was going on. One of the best books I've ever read!

The song was taken from the commodore 64 version. You can find it on websites sharing SID music files (SID is the chipset used for sounds on the C64).

You'll need a SID emulator for your audio player if you download SID files.

@a1rh3add I get annoyed when people read a great book and say, "can't wait for the movie!" Books are not movies, they are completely separate art forms and are not interchangeable. Some work as movies, some don't, but a blockbuster movie is not the apotheosis of a great book. Often making a book into a movie is a huge downgrade and fails miserably. And you never hear people say, "boy, I wish they'd make that movie into a book!" If you have an imagination, then you've "seen" the movie already.

This *is* my favorite book - I've been reading it at least once a year probably since the mid 90's...
