you clearly have NOT seen the interview where jim tells that his character Ace Ventura is based on a bird.... with fast head movement... so this isn't so good impression. But to be honest its damn hard to make a good impro of Ace Ventura, anyway look the: Jim Carrey on Inside the Actors Studio Part 1 (where jim tells that Anthony Hopkins on Hannibal and Ace Ventura were both based on animals: as Hannibal was based on a Crodocide, Ace Ventura was based on a bird hehe).

The lines are said way to slowly. It makes the comedic timing of the lines all off, so it just seems lame.
