Alice Zhang 16 years old passed away in a tragic car accident on April 10th, 2011 at 6:45 pm on West Duarte Road. She was a dear friend and a huge inspiration to me back at our days at ACI (afterschool). I will never forget the impact she has left on me, and her kindness she has shown. Thank you Alice the least that I could have done was to commemorate you in this dedicated video. Rest in Peace.

My message in the video:
I personally knew Alice in several aspects. I used to be her seat partner in ACI( after school) , and we shared many classes such as Math and English in ACI. Alice was a quiet and respectful individual whom never disrupted class and was always on task. Alice was highly intellectual and responsible in whatever she did from taking tests to submitting homework on time. I will never forget the impact she has made for me by her help in Geometry back in middle school, and by her humble respectful presence. We also shared the same art class at U.S Art Education Center in Temple City. She was a splendid artist and our teacher will be traumatized to hear this, because she has been a student there for 7-8 years already. Her legacy will never be forgotten by me or Arcadia High School. Thank you Alice I promise to never forget you after all we have been through together. Even though you were very quiet we managed to talk a few times and those memories will be cherished. Rest in Peace God Bless.
I gave a home grown flower bouquet to the tragic site of Alice's passing. My leg cramped terribly on the way there could not walk for three minutes. Yet I was determined to get my flowers to her and eventually made it. There were many flowers there, candles, messages. Please go pay your respects at that walkway on Duarte. Thank you so much she deserves the honor.
Things you could do:
- Remember her forever and give her the Respect, Love, Honor that she deserves. Thank you.
Info about the video:
My leg cramped halfway but I was determined that would not stop me. The flowers in the video are now at the crossing on Duarte. Purple was her favorite color that is why I am wearing a purple shirt. I will continue to improve my skills and thank you to all my supporters all this time.
