about 98% chance of a refurb as the ones that are refurbed are Inverness based

I do it often at Glasgow Central, and no one has ever bothered. Hell, a ScotRail worker even greeted me when I was filming at Platform 12 (formerly 11a). I want to move to Inverness some day within the next few years, so I really want to film at this station.

just to let you know 1st class is declassified on the north line and any one can sit in it with std ticket also the staff are very friendly up here.

I am not sure - the friendliness of the staff up there - I reckon theyll allow you to upgrade - or even if its quiet tell you its fine!

cooll,, i have booked standard class tickets on the net , but there was not a option for first class :S, do u think i will be able to just upgrade them on the day?? onboard the train
