Conquest: Frontier Wars - Terran Game Music

Music from the 2001 "fleet based real time strategy" title Conquest: Frontier Wars. Developed by Fever Pitch Studios and published by Ubisoft. This track is heard while playing as the Terran race. In the campaign additional bits of background music are also used.

The movie Starship Troopers is from 1997 but this game is from 1996 so I guess Starhip Troopers got some inspiration from here :-D At least I hope so.

One of the best pieces of game music in the history of RTS, really pompous, but it fits this game. And one of the few tracks you can really just listen to as music, instead of in the background. Though it's still a blast at work.

Oh my god, I watched Starship Troopers a couple weeks ago, and I remember thinking, "WTF, why does this sound so familiar?" I hadn't played Conquest: Frontier Wars for 10 years.

I remember using lancers to wipe out everything then all the sudden a dreadnought/battle cruiser fleet would show up and just crush them all. Hard learning experience lol. Star wars empire at war space fights reminded me so much of this game. I think I'm going find my disc and play it.

Sometimes I wish we fought an alien species just so we could put aside all our petty differences. Also it would speed up technology development for spacecrafts by a few magnitudes and that would be kickass.

@piip4 I think 6 might even be easier than 2 as I recall. I think with only 2 they have more room to expand and are thus much harder to root out.
