Now that we have accepted the free gift of Salvation in Christ and are clean from old sins, living by FAITH (not sinning) we never need to return to the old way of thinking/acting! A NEW CREATION!, full of love and "..saving ourselves and others..."!! As for the KJV comments: The Spirit of the Living God has never been, nor ever will be, restricted to one English translation of letters in a book. It will always live in Him, and His People, wherever they are!!!!!!! PV

Thanks for sharing this....I'm not a huge fan of traditional hymns, but almost always they get to me when I hear them.
