Well with a name like Joker he sure is tame lol. That is totally AWESOME. My wife is really big into riding and showing and I haven't seen her do that yet. Don't know if she has ever tried but that is awesome. I am getting into reining myself I just bought a horse named KKR Shock N Yall. He is a beautiful blue eyed paint I can't wait to ride him. But GREAT work with Joker that is really impressive!

WOW. How did you teach him to stop with nothing on? I've tried doing that but I don't know how to teach my horse to stop.

I wish i had more time to train my horse like that.. it's so awesome and builds the bond between rider and horse so much better..your great.

haha that was always that hardest part for me. When I first took it off Joker would never stop and whenever I asked for anything above a walk he'd just take off and go where he wanted. And truthfully, that's sorta scary. lol
So i had to find a way to teach him... I would wrap my legs around his chest/neck, lean back and say woah til he stopped. THen porgressed to doing it at all gaits and my just leaning back and saying woah. It's unorthodox but hey, worked for my boy when nothing else would.
