    I am not sure about other coutries but Tofu is easily available in the US and it is made out soy..

  • @SuperVeggieDelight Never mind the comments about the accent kiddo. Most of these people can't speak 2 straight sentences in the only language they know, & they have the audacity to make fun of those who speak many languages. My guess is that you speak at least 3: Gujarati, Hindi & Engish, probably more. You're doing great. & you just gave the most fitting response. Just ignore these nincompoops.

  • @SuperVeggieDelight actually, tofu is highly overrated. It can be a PART of the healthy diet, but if you make it a regular 4-times a week thing, it is not good for the health. One of the reasons is that it is very high in phytoestrogen (this is true of all soy products) . Even the Japanese have told me that. That's why I have cut down on the use of tofu. I do use it in place of paneer in many preparations, but not as often as I used to, & have stopped the soy milk totally.
