Yes, I know it comes with a gun. The only reason I ask is I am going to be using the raptor kit to undercoat the bottom of a car and I'll have very little clearance (it will be on jack stands). Using a pressure pot allows the gun to be turned upside down too, so that would help immensely.

Thanks for the comment. We chose that psi to allow for a smoother finish. Lower psi would add more texture.

A weekend would be perfect. Prep time is by far the biggest part of your project. I love how my jeep turned out. That hooked me on the Raptor system. Good Luck, let me know how it turns out.

Is there anyway that this could be sprayed through a paint gun attached to a 2 quart pressure pot, or is it too think for that?

@firstyearta The kit we purchase from TP Tools comes with the gun. Thats the route I would take.

Near Kansas City by any chance? Maybe I could talk you into supervising me doing this to my truck?

@JasonK94Z I am in the KC area a couple times a year. You will be surprised how easy it is to apply this product. If you can sand and use masking tape, that will be the hardest part of your project.

How does it hold up. They all look good when they are first sprayed. But after a few months it starts pealing up or it tears up easily. My current truck had one of those cheap jobs done. I am not looking forward to scrapping all that crap off.

I have only had one problem. On my truck behind the pass wheelwell I failed to clean that area well after prep and it bubbled up and flaked off. I went over the area with a wire wheel and reapplied while we were doing another bed. You can not even tell the repair happened and no miss match in color. Kinda glad it happened, now we know it is can easily be repaired. Great stuff!!
