Part 2!!! Sniper battle! Elite Guard! HEADSHOTS! :D

Title: Vengeance of the Wicked
Engine: Reaction Quake 3 (Q3 engine)
Emphasis: Revenge plot, lots of sniper headshots, and rockin' music.

Story: The Ex-Con was a bank robber with a penchant for escaping jail. The Boss had a thing for having jobs put together. When a job goes awry, the loot is lost, and cops are on the robbers' tail, The Boss betrays his hired crew and leaves The Ex-Con for dead in a dark alley.

Three years later, The Ex-Con escapes. A monstrous force of violence, the wicked man will have his revenge.

+_+_+_+_+_+_+

This was Dark & Moody Productions' first Quake 3-based film to get finished, using the mod Reaction. Filmed from 2002-2004, with lots of reshoots, downtime, hiccups, and technical problems along the way. Unfortunately it was recorded only in 320x240 format due to using a 700mhz PC at the time of its creation (but not its completion, ironically). This led to the film taking on a low-quality look despite the nice graphics of RQ3. I mean, they don't look THAT bad anyway...

The cast was huge, filming was tough, and it was the movie I cut my teeth on. I'd love to have a shorter version of the film available, recut to fit my tighter editing standards, but every attempt I've made to recut this film has ended in failure. So here it is, just as it was, with a few additions made in December 2004. (three months after its initial releasing)

FINALLY, those of you who look at my Source videos can see the humble beginnings of the style and action I do. :P

Trivia Note: The sniper shot between the hedges took literally HOURS to do. The original idea was to use a grenade in the fountain but it never worked because of Q3's explosion physics. So we changed it to a sniper shot - but it ended up being so difficult only ONE of the actors we had was able to accomplish it.

The irony is he accomplished it FOUR TIMES IN A ROW once he got it down. Hah! Much thanks to, if I remember correctly, SpecOps. :)
