  • i don't leave any personal items that go on my body (any part) on bare surfaces (even mine).i let my brushes hang off the ledge or put them back in brush container.if in public surfaces,i layer w/ clean tissue: freshly packed, not yet exposed).every few weeks,i clean my brushes and container w/ baby shampoo.you can also actually get away w/ sponges if you wash them.baby shampoo contains no harmful chemicals so your essentials last longer and don't deteriorate.make sure hands are

  • the brush is still going to carry bacteria!! unless you wash them constantly...seriously i wash them after every use. and but i use cosmetic wedges for concelar and my foundation. So yeah girls wash your brushes[if you haven't lol]

  • @pinkmacprincess Bacteria need moisture to grow.

    So , No.

  • @pinkmacprincess Well.. I hope you clean your brushes O.o... Any face brush that I use on my face ONCE, I wash it right after, rarely would I with the same face brush twice.

  • @triplet5266 sweetie, when you get old you'll get your fair share of rude comments thrown back at you. karma will be a bitch.

  • UR old!

  • my comment was for roundgecko btw...not in reply to what PB had to say. I totally agree with PB.

  • I see what you're saying about the oils going into the compact from the sponge, but you have to remember that 9 times out of 10 your face is clean before you apply your makeup. At least I hope this is the case for women. So you are applying it to a clean surface. PB makes really great points about the brushes. I'm kind of like her in that was as well. I'm a germaphobe. lol

  • Ah, I love the idea of a retractable brush for same bag travel - perfect! As for the non-sponge usage comment, doesn't using a brush on your face pick up the oils and transfer them back into the compact the next time you use it too, or is it OK because it is such a light sweep rather than a wipe/drag?

  • thanks for the tips! I got lots of wicked Maybelline makeup from 'gratis makeup samples' they'll last me ages!

  • she makes it look so natural... but what she really wants is for you to buy that brush....

just wash your face,, wash your brushes or sponge..

  • u have too much blush... :) ur pretty even without make up... :D
