Many texts would have you looking for a squeal or a thump. Nix. Here's how it is supposed to work.

    Dear Crumfish

thank you thank you thank you

if my regen lash up hums

    i will NOT shake it

    yours truly

  • yaeh! i love the sound of the regerative radios!! everytime i pick up some station, i like to play with the regeneration to get the louder reception!! i love old radios!!

  • When my radios don't behave properly, I find grounding them helps. I had one that would not behave no matter what I did. So I grounded it for an entire month. Usually grounding a misbehaving radio for a week works well. Try not to shake the radio when it misbehaves as this can lead to shaken radio syndrome.

  • Thanks! Here's mine which I think is almost as smooth :)
