@RealDougal Doesnt surprise me! General Percival was commanding the garrison! As Colonel Percival, of the Essex Regt, was a company commander in Cork in 1920. Possibly in charge of the Essex Battalion Torture Squad! Shame for all the poor buggers he led in to Japanese captivity.
