The dance done is "Steel City Promenade" by
Rick Mohr.
As for lessons -- the typical way to do it is
by showing up to a dance and trying it -- that's
why there's no videos! The key figure here to
watch, though, is the swing, and to a lesser extent
the half hey.

I agree, too much movement. It would be nice to focus on one couple/group at a time to be able to follow through and learn the moves. The one good thing about the video is you can understand the caller! I'm sure the people who attended the event were greatful to be seen on the video. ..still searching for a "lessons" video!

Was trying to get everyone in, and walking to find a better vantagepoint. Mainly picked this video from the angle, and I did like the audio, gotta admit the sound came out nice. And Contra Dancing is so exciting you just can't stay still even if youre an observer! If I could have 4000x2800 resolution, and a fisheye lens, and set on tripod would be nice. I may have some lessons, or walkthroughs, on tape.
