umm.. how do u see where u going... it would be a bad day if u got rear ended by one of those while blowing snow.
-
does anyone else think its ironic that california dreaming is playing while focused on a plow truck?
-
wth?? no snow in aussy land.
-
thats the cats ass. i think i love everything about it.
-
sounds like it could use some tuning on the carb. Otherwise, it's a nice truck!
-
Not being a smart ass, sorry if I came across like one.
Valve sits in the block not the head, way harder to sink the seat.
If the owner was worried about it there are a ton of additives on the market to act like lead.
I have a study some where in my files the shows no lead only becomes a problem around 4000 rpm.
Cheers

Interesting. Of course, like I know from flatheads! :)
-
Not an issue with a low rpm flathead.
-
Were the valves changed out for ones made with modern alloys? The older-style valves used the lead that was in the gasoline engines of the day for lubrication.

A snow blast from the past?
ime, afraid that we have not had the blower spinning,it is free enough but the back engine that drives it is not working, but the chap that actually owns it a friend of ours will get it going when its shipped to Australia were he lives.
