With you guys saying her technique is bad, here's my OPINION (opinion only, not trying to force anything on anyone): If you watch Fonteyn or Makarova, or any great ballerina before 80s/90s-ish, ballet was stylistically different then--technique was not as sharp and it was weird to do more than two pirouettes or kick or leg up high. So in terms of when Nina was trained probs in 60s, her technique is actually quite justifiable.

@DehManesBllt Also, to each his own... If we talk about expression, vitality, yes we could say that Russian are the best but in the precision in the technique, synchronization in the corps de ballet, the technique of the men, costumes ... Paris and Royal are the best. So after, it's my opinion...
(I'm not saying Russian are bad, absolutely not! But I prefer ONP...)
(sorry for my English)

@LetsDanceInTheSky Really? Do you think Paris is the best company? Are you high? Of course not! Royal, ABT and Paris it's far to be "best companies". The russian companies are way better. Specially The Bolshoi.
-
@LetsDanceInTheSky Nope, it's one of the best companies...You can look it up

@PhysicRose Bolshoï is sure not the best company in the world (it's PARIS!!!!!), also, it WAS not if you want. But I'm not suprised of the quality of this variation... Bolshoi in the URSS time was quite bad I think...
