UPDATE It has been a YEAR since I posted this. Now my wheelchair is 11 years old now and is so dilapidated I am getting HURT in it regularly! It is literally falling apart!! ALSO I just had surgery number 37. I have had a difficult year but I have come through I am a very strong determined girl and with YOUR SUPPORT eventually I will win! Changing a bad Medicare policy that stole the equal rights of people who have medical equipment their insurers no longer wish to pay for should be of concern to everyone!. At this point I feel I am being purposely neglected by my insurers Medicare/Medicaid and I am accepting legal counsel. There should be a law against neglecting diminished individuals, plus I pay for coverage why won't they pay to replace my outdated dilapidated dangerous durable (now THAT is an understatement!) Medical Equipment like my Group 4 Power Mobility Device? Invacare Ranger X with a tilt in space only reason they refuse to replace it is because my motors are in the rear and I need a vibration protection device inside my front legs! SWEAR TRUE ONLY REASON

I see this supportive comment and am reminded of the way you visit and make me feel upright in my community To feel like there is hope that one day I will be treated equally and finally allowed to replace my wheelchair means so much.
