is this how they create a video where everything is in color except for one object that happens to be black and white? and u wonder how did they do that? i bet it's a video mask or something!

@DestinyQx Small Canon digital cameras let you do that automatically by picking a colour and processing the video internally. Check out the SD1300/SD1400/SD780/SD4000/... et cetera.

The GIMP can do this now? The main reason I bought Photoshop was for proper masking support... how things have changed.
(Well, the Gimp's interface is still a huge mess, so I think I'll still to PS, but it's good to know the open source team is still working hard.)
