I live in Carlsbad Ca and watch the missle launches when they happen to come my way. This is no big deal.

i JUST SAW ONE TONIGHT AND WAS TRIPPING OUT AND CALLED THE POLICE STATION AND THEY SAID IT WAS A MISSLE FROM VENDENBURG. IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS RIGHT HERE OVER SANTA BARBARA.. PRETTY COOL.

I work on this project as well and he was telling you the truth. I don't know his definition of common but generally you can see 1-2 a year at this point.

Vandenberg AFB is located on the Central Coast of California right along the Pacific coast line. The missiles are launched out over the Pacific. In this video, the missile is so high up in the atmosphere, that it appears to be directly over the city. But it's really out over the ocean. We see them all the time here.

if your dad rocket scientist and these are very common,, please film 1.. i never seen a missle do this i would like to see some real military footage of missles that do this is there any? or please film these if they are so common make 10min video with like a few of them daytime nightime anything would be cool.

How could you say that , I have seen hundreds of missile tests, and never has there been any testing that close to any city with those kind of results. Here Google this ..

The reason the contrail is glowing so brightly is because it is so high in the atmosphere. It is high enough so that it is no longer in the earth's shadow, since it isn't in the earth's shadow, it is able to reflect the sunlight.
