I'm havin' some trouble with the palm muting... Could you give- me some hints?

Simply place the outer edge of your hand (pinky side) on the strings, right on the bridge. If the strings still ring out , move your hand about 1/4" up the guitar. If you go further up the strings you'll notice it's just a dead sound. Also, if you're used to strumming moving your entire hand, you'll have to practice leaving your hand on the bridge and using more of a finger motion to strum, it just takes a little practice. Have faith, experiment, and have fun!
