  • @1ICEEY try again. it works

  • i did exactly like you said but once i sync it, it doesn't show up in my ringtones folder on my iphone. help!!

  • Thanks for your post. It helped me a lot, especially the file extension trick. I also dragged the tone into my iphone, cause I couldn't see it in ringtones, not sure if that was correct, but finally got my ringtone.

    Cheers,

    Mike

  • also how come iphones will only play 9 seconds can we get the full song

  • hi mate i cant see a folder in itunes called ringtones?

  • I love you.

  • @08britt53 If you right click on the file and you do not see the Create the AAC, left Click on your file, up the top click a tab called advanced - Create AAC version.

  • i don't have the option to create the AAC. what should i do? or is there anything i can do?

  • @thehocuspocus9 If you don't have alot of music on your IPhone then just erase and sync, and put back on what you had

  • Oh yes!!! Finally!! Been trying to do this for ages and the secret all along was control panel and change the hidden file extension!! Thanks so much, you've saved me a fortune and solved the one thing I missed about my blackberry, my exact choice of ringtone :)
