No one can replace Anita period!!! She is way ahead of her time in style I would say who is copying who. I think those western superstar they so call are looking towards Asian to find inspiration and new style.

@liewchunyuen faye wong is not that great. she can't vibrate her voice like anita can. anita can sing very low voice like a man and then suddenly screamin very light pitch. faye wong can't measure up to anita. no one knows faye wong outside of china. anita mui is known throughout the world and any countries that have chinese people or like chinese muic. anita mui is so popular in southeast asia and every chinatown around the world. period. i didn't know anything about faye won until now.

I really hate how Asian singers/actors are always compared to a popular Western one, like people calling Anita the Madonna of Hong Kong. Anita Mui carved her own place in music and movies; she had more than enough work to call her own. Anita Mui is Anita Mui. There is no comparison.
