Once upon a time, I made a music video to Heeding the Call by hammerfall. And this is it. What started out as a simple film class assignment in high school became an epic adventure in the making. 5 years later, I have dug the tape out of the enchanted vault from which it had been held captive and now is finally released for the whole world to see.
Due to the fact that this video is five years old and has made several transiions from dv tapes to vhs back to dv tapes then back into final cut and finally through the wonderful compresser of youtube the video quality is less than crisp, and thus is only a testament to the glory that this footage once was.
the stars of this music video are: Joel Spencer (moi) as the singer/lead guitarist, Jared Rodriguez as the corny doof who blows kisses at the camera and wears sunglasses in the dead of night, and Drew Ramsey the drummer with bunny slippers who keeps on drumming during rests and after the music has ended. this was the first thing I EVER edited, (way back in 2003) so considering that I think I did a decent job.
Just some last snippits of dibble:
The backdrop is completely real, we filmed this on the backyard patio of a rich girls house who lives on a hill and that is her view.
It is not our playing you are hearing, we filmed this in the traditional music video fashion: playing along to the pre-recorded song with our instruments unplugged (faking it)
I don't know if that ufo is real
I got an A on the assingment, the teacher used my video as an example to the other classes, and it got first place at the VC film festival (yay!)

I have a hunch that your UFO is indeed real, it's luminosity variable shift gives it away. As such, I must order you to hand over the original tape immediately for research. Send it to:
