Here I show you awesome new glitch in starfox discovered mostly by me. This glitch let you save gatekeeper little bit early than normally and you can get to the darkice mines without saving queen earthwalker. This glitch also skip firefly lantern completely, maybe. Haven't confirmed yet. Also you can keep one extra key from here and six white mushrooms what you normally use to save queen. Maybe those have some us later in game. First this glitch involves doing bunch of new glitches and this trick is easy on one go when you practice it. And this trick will save about 8 mins from speedruns, maybe more. Be warned of that if you don't know what you do this is hard! You can use this skip when you have saved tricky from and get back to thorntail hollow. If you go speak to gate keeper before getting tricky game will act weird and freeze really badly after it!
How to:
1: Do airswim glitch from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z95w8M9mkQc (discovered by cerpin)
2: Swim around perimeter of map like in video. if you swim too far fox will freeze and you need to do all over again. Get yourself to the near of loading zone and turn camera like it will be on unloaded room. It should load new area if done correctly. You can also use Z view here, discovered by cerpin.
3: Do same stuff like in video until you get to that point where you need to get up to floor. If you can't get up you are swimming too high. Problem is you started your swim too high from waterfall. Do it lower like in video. You can also use this to get snowhorn early without tricky and use it to make more intresting useless glitches happen. Discovered by me and video is coming later.
4: Keep positioning yourself and then fall down to waterbox there and swim right before you get yourself inside of bounds. Swim around perimeter of map. Before you do this you need to turn water flow same way you are swimming now. Do this while coming from snowhorn with tricky!!! You cannot swim against water flow so you need to turn it before this!
5: Get near of of that back wall where those sewers are. That area hold loading point to next map. So you need to swim close of it to get it load next map!
6: Then next load point is when you normally come out from water. Swim under of it too like in video. You can hear those game sounds when it's loading and game will lack little bit.
7: Do that camera load glitch again at this point. If it doesn't load you missed those loading points get back and do them again.
8: After this there is two more loading points what you need to past near of walls. I think you can notice them from video. One is near of pillar after fire bats where tunnel starts. Then next one is near of that guard sharpclaw enemy. You can see when game is little bit lag at those points. Or you can see some objects is loaded.
9: When you get there and maybe used one bafomdad to bring you back to life. Go to other side of metal gate and walk by there. Save and load your save again. When you load your save again all should normally work after this.
If that mammoth under ice is not there you missed last loading point near of that guard thing. Try again. You can done this without dieing too if you are enough quick. And all map actors look funny when they are something like semiloaded I think. There is some stuff to do when game is in this state. I will make video of it too later. When you have done with frostweed quest just jump down from cliff and get back to thorntail hollow and fly to darkice mines!
I will play and beat this game with this stuff on and see what else we can get from this! Have fun!! First Starfox Sequence break ever! ^_^
EDIT: NOTE!! If you do this and get almost end of the game. You cannot get krazoa spirit from here because gate is shut tight and you cannot get other side of it when you are doing that snowhorn challenge where those platforms appears and you need to play horn on them. If there would be another way to do this. Then it will work.
