I set up a 6 monitor setup with a mac pro with 6 23" Viewsonic displays. Originally it used a 5870 eyefinity 6 edition, so it would not be able to boot up in to OS X, but now i'm switching to GTX 590s.

These ones were 2x 24" and 2x 17"...

@fimbles101 OSX has much better multimonitor support out of the box than Win7...
X-Plane works really well on this setup and if I really want to, I can boot into Windows for gaming (but that need hasn't arisen yet)

The only game I've really played on it is X-Plane.... And that doesn't really need monitors of the same size! Apart from that, I just have an xbox plugged into one of the displays!
