3d presentation of a project in Doha, Qatar which at 1200 tons per hour is the largest sand washing system anywhere in the world. The plant was delivered in full by the CDE Middle East office in Doha and was completed in early 2009.

why thy wash sand?

@SuperAaaaa123456 Many reasons. For this project it was because there was a need to remove salt from the sand. Other contaminants such as clay, lignite or high volumes of very fine particles in natural sand require that it be washed in order that you can produce a sand to your desired specification. Most often this is a concrete sand but there are also plants producing silica sand, golf sands, frac sands etc
