@chebss - I also went for the first time in '99 and have been back to New York twice since. I feel so lucky to have been up the world trade centre & felt so incredibly sad when I visited after 2001 and just saw the massive gaping hole of ground zero. I hope to go again when the new buildings a finished there, I know it will feel different again.

i went to the top of the wtc in may 1999,feel very fortunate.been to new york 3 times since 9/11 love the place,thanks for posting this and the memories it brought back.
