EOD comes to save the day

Finally Air Force EOD (Exoplosive Ordinance Disposal) arrived to save the day.. they had this cool remote controled robot that can disarm a bomb from a distance... too bad my battery ran out at the end. The bomb was difused and we got a closer look... it was huge... if it had went off, I wouldnt be here uploading videos. (March 2004)

@historyman9 The Army and Navy EODs are different from AFEOD. Air Force bomb monkies are more highly trained and handle the larger explosives, weapon caches and stuff like that.

Army, Marine and Navy EODs take care of the lower-key things and (typically) don't actually defuse explosives, rather just throw C4 ontop of the IEDs and detonate it.

@historyman9 AF EOD responds to 50% of the IED calls overseas. and that percentve used to be higher, closer to 70%
