Should we create a mobile version of our site?

Love that you addressed this question, but you didn't really answer it with new information. If you have mobile content that addresses mobile queries not found on your desktop web site, why wouldn't you host it on a separate mobile site that's optimized for mobile users? If you could address the complex issue here some of us would be interested in the kind of thoughtful answers we've come to expect from these videos. A rare miss from the Google Webmaster Central team.

it is a broad question. Depends on the audience targeted Some campaigns for instance I disable ads on mobile phones since I believe visitors will not go for expensive items without a lot of research. I also develop applications that will run on phones better, but the also run on desktops. You have the audience you are looking to reach.

We've now added the links to the video. You should see them appear at around 0:43 if you watch again. :)

Hm, can you share the links to the Google Japan posts? Thank you.

They're in the video description, but hard to spot since you need to click on "more info" to see the full text. We've just added links right on the video itself at about 0:43, so they should now be easier to spot.
